Growing with Gratitude

How We Give Back to Our Community

At Win Gardens Greenhouse, we believe our work doesn’t stop at the edge of the greenhouse. Being part of a community means showing up with open hands, kind gestures, and, of course, flowers. Over the past year, we’ve been honored to support several local organizations and schools with plant donations that bring joy, show appreciation, and spark connection.

We partnered with Moose International for a food drive, contributing over 400 plants as thank-you gifts to encourage donations. Each donor went home with a plant, and the result was a generous collection of canned goods to support local families.

When Mother’s Day rolled around, we wanted to recognize the people who give so much to our community. We donated flowers to the nurses and doctors at St. Mary’s Hospital, and to the moms who welcomed new babies that weekend. We also shared zinnias, marigolds, and petunias with the students at Shelledy Elementary so they could gift them to their guardians. It was a simple but meaningful way to celebrate the weekend and show gratitude.

As the holiday season approached, we donated 500 poinsettias to the faculty and staff at Colorado Mesa University. It was a small way to thank them for the work they do all year long in shaping minds and supporting the next generation.

In addition to these larger efforts, we also reached out and contributed to about a half dozen smaller events and community moments throughout the year. Whether it was a local fundraiser, auction, or money raising effort from a non-profit, we were glad to say yes whenever we could.

These moments may seem simple, but they mean a lot to us. Giving back with what we grow is one of the most fulfilling parts of what we do. Whether it’s through partnerships, schools, hospitals, or holiday cheer, we’re proud to support the people and places that make this Valley home.
